The Cinema Edition - The Sweet n’ Salty Debate
This year, the script was flipped, we chased the legends to a different kind of stage: the cinema. Instead of choosing between the cinema's greatest rivals, sweet or salty popcorn, we bottled both.
The salty edition fuses the Mediterranean base botanicals of our Illusionist Dry Gin with the addictive, salted cinema popcorn. It coats the palate in a rich wave of brown butter and sea salt, unfolding with fragrant, roasted almonds akin to freshly baked croissants. A bold flavour profile that reimagines traditional gin into a savoury, artisan snack.

Salty Edition - Tasting Notes
Popcorn, Toasted Butter, Sea Salt, Roasted Almonds
Aroma: Toasted cinema popcorn, roasted almonds, and a delicate hint of warm, savoury pastry.
Palate: Familiar, comforting warmth lingers on your tongue alongside the roasted almonds, held together beautifully by the clean, luxurious, and distinctive signature Illusionist Dry Gin base.
Finish: Complex and brilliantly dry, with lingering notes of salted nuts and a clean, savoury-juniper crispness.

The Water of Life
Dune 3
Ingredients:
- 60ml Illusionist Distiller’s Edition 2026 SALTY
- 15ml Dry Vermouth (e.g. Belsazar or Dolin)
- A dash of Orange Bitters (e.g. Angostura)
- Tajín (for the glass rim)
Method:
Wet the rim of coupette or tumbler glass with a lime wedge. Dip the glass top-down into a plate of Tajîn. Combine ingredients in a mixing glass filled with ice. Stir for 30 seconds until well-chilled. Strain into a glass.
Garnish: Rosemary sprig
Pairs Well With: Smoked almonds, or plain salted popcorn.

Avengers: Doomsday
Ingredients:
- 50ml Illusionist Distiller’s Edition 2026 SALTY
- 25ml Fresh Lemon Juice
- 15ml Simple Syrup
- 2 dashes of Jalapeño Brine
- Jalapeño
Method:
Combine all ingredients with ice in shaker. Shake 15 seconds until well-chilled. Strain into a tumbler over a large ice cube.
Garnish: Torched jalapeño.
Pairs Well With: Cheddar cheese & nachos.
Cyclops Eye
The Odyssey
Ingredients:
- 50ml Illusionist Distiller’s Edition 2026 SALTY
- 15ml Fresh Lime Juice
- Ginger Beer
- A pinch of activated charcoal
- Eyeball gummi or quail egg
Method:
Combine the gin, lime juice, and activated charcoal with ice in a shaker. Shake until well-chilled. Strain into a tumbler filled with crushed ice and top-up with ginger beer to taste.
Garnish: Eyeball gummi or a quail egg on a skewer (for the eye).
Pairs Well With: Freshly baked pretzels with salt.
